A Glimpse into Our Daily Activities:
Day 1: Arrival and Settling In
Upon arrival, you will settle into your chosen accommodation. The day will conclude with a welcome dinner and a group discussion to foster connection and introduce the retreat’s themes
Day 2: Exploring the Land.
We will begin with a Land Orientation, focusing on how to understand the landscape to optimize its use effectively. Following this, you’ll experience a Farm tour, showcasing the diverse array of plants and trees cultivated here.
Day 3: Herbs & Honey
Immerse yourself in our Herbs & Honey workshop, where you’ll learn the fundamentals of herbal tea making. Explore different herbs on our homestead & craft your very own blend. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to get hands-on introduction to beekeeping & take home a jar as a gift.
Day 4: Delving into Sustainability.
We will explore the multifaceted nature of sustainability, covering topics such as house design, energy solutions, and utility considerations, emphasizing working in harmony with available resources. A practical hands-on workshop will focus on using natural wood and palm thatch to create a roof, a key skill in sustainable building.
Day 5: Utilizing Nature's Resources.
Discover the world of Herbal medicine. You will learn how to create your own herbal medicine through the process of harvesting, drying, and processing various plants. This hands on session you will get a chance to learn simple ways to start building your natural medicine cabinet.
Day 6: Conclusion and Farewell.
This final day will be dedicated to reflection and departure, equipped with newfound knowledge and experiences
